How to make the prefect Carbon fiber wire prodcution

Aluminum overhead transmission line.jpg

Carbon fiber wire has many advantages, but there are also his shortcomings, such as most carbon fiber wire carbon fiber core single core (it is understood that the development of carbon fiber core stranded wire), easy to damage during construction, because in the aluminum wire, Should not be found, after the damage to the subsequent operation will leave a little security risk. Today, Xiao Bian has collected some of the easily-available problems and shared it with everyone, mainly in the construction phase, and made brief explanations on some of the operational issues.

Defect Type 1: Surface Burr

Situation introduction: A 500kV overhead transmission line has been scaled up and reformed, and the original ACSR has been replaced with carbon fiber conductors. During the construction, after the arrival of the carbon fiber conductor wire, an opening inspection was performed to find that the surface of the conductor was burred.

Analysis of the reasons: There is flaw in the process during the production and processing of the manufacturer, which causes burrs on the surface of the wire.

Consequences: Corona discharge and tip discharge after the line is put into operation.

Suggestion: After the goods arrive, they should be checked and accepted on a disk-by-disc basis.

★Defect Type 2: Broken stock

Situation introduction: A 500kV overhead transmission line has been scaled up and reformed, and the original ACSR has been replaced with carbon fiber conductors. During wire construction, strands were found to have broken strands, and no signs of construction stress were found at the strands.

Analysis of reasons: Manufacturers have flaws in the process of production and processing, leading to strand breakage at the factory.

Consequences: After the line is put into operation, it will result in the phenomenon of loose stocks and shares.

Recommendation: After the arrival of the goods, the inspection should be carried out on a disc-by-disc basis.

★ Defect Type 3: "Lantern", Drum Bag

Introduction: A 220kV transmission line expansion and reconstruction project replaced the original 1×LGJ-400/35 steel-cored aluminum-conductor line conductors with 1×JRLX/T-400 carbon fiber conductors. In the course of wire construction, wire “lanterns” and bulging occurred.

Analysis of reason: carbon fiber wire is formed by twisting the inner carbon fiber core and the outer aluminum wire. During the process of exposing or tightening the carbon fiber wire, due to the effect of tension, the aluminum wire on the surface of the carbon fiber wire will “creep "Long" (the aluminum wire has gaps between the strands, and the force makes the wire strands tighter between the strands, the gap becomes smaller, although the length of the wire is changed, but the whole wire is elongated), the inner layer of carbon fiber core Due to the high strength of the rod, the deformation is small. There will be relative slippage between the outer aluminum wire and the inner carbon fiber mandrel. When the slippage is hindered or the crimping of the side clamp is completed, the aluminum strands on the surface of the carbon fiber wire will appear as “lanterns” (bullet). .

Consequences: (1) The “lantern” (bullet) of the aluminum wire of the carbon fiber conductor is generally difficult to repair for a running wire. Loose aluminum wire also causes long-term exposure of the carbon fiber core to the air. If the operating environment is harsh, the carbon fiber core is Disadvantages; (2) "Lantern" (bulging) appears on the aluminum wire. Due to the change of tension during the operation, the aluminum wires on the surface are not evenly stressed, resulting in the broken aluminum wire.
